Luciana Chavez of the N&O reports on Duke’s 201-yard rushing performance against the Crimson Tide.

Re’quan Boyette’s 97 rushing yards against Alabama on Saturday looked like a bright light shining out of the dark for the Duke Blue Devils.
Not only did Duke’s 201 total in the 30-14 loss signal that the Devils found a forward gear in their running game, but it also showed Boyette had discarded the baggage he had carried in recent weeks.

“I felt a little better,” said Boyette, who had carried the ball just once in Duke’s two previous games. “But we didn’t come out with a win. I’d take away all those yards for us to get a win.”
